A 56-year-old tourist has collapsed and died after completing the world's highest bungee jump, Ednews informs referring to Daily Mail.
The as-yet-unnamed Japanese tourist was taken to Conde S. Januario Hospital in Macau, China, after leaping off the Macau Tower on December 3 afternoon.
Officials said he experienced shortness of breath and ended up losing consciousness shortly after the 764ft jump at 4.30 p.m.
Paramedics found he was not breathing and had no heartbeat when they arrived at the scene. He was pronounced dead after being taken to hospital.
Skypark by AJ Hackett, the company that runs the bungee jump and other activities at Macau Tower, says on its website that paying customers should disclose any medical conditions before taking part in any of its activities.
