Ukrainian Defense Ministry announced in a Telegram post on Tuesday that Belgium has promised to give F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine in 2025.
According to the statement, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov discussed this topic with his Belgium counterpart Lyudivin Dedonder. The two countries also talked about the possibility of receiving representatives of the Belgian defense-industrial complex in Ukraine at the beginning of next year.
Umerov noted the importance of starting to arrange the supply of ammunition, spare parts, and technical equipment for the F-16s.
