Israel's Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, announced on Thursday that the diplomatic credentials of Norwegian envoys to the Palestinian Authority (PA) would be withdrawn due to Oslo's "anti-Israel behavior" since the beginning of the Gaza conflict in October.
"Israel will no longer facilitate Norway’s representation to the Palestinian Authority. Accordingly, Israel will not accredit Norwegian diplomats in the State of Israel, if they are sent to be posted to serve in Norway’s representative office in the Palestinian Authority," the ministry's statement shows.
Namely, starting today, the credentials will be revoked in a timeframe of seven days and the visa of Norwegian diplomats will be valid just for three months.
