Türkiye’s exports to Azerbaijan also continue to rise, reflecting the strengthening of bilateral economic relations. This growth indicates increasing collaboration and mutual interest in expanding trade across various sectors.
EDnews reports that Azerbaijan significantly increased its imports from Türkiye in early 2025. In the first quarter, total imports rose by 52.6% compared to the same period last year, reaching $5.66 billion. Notably, imports in the state sector grew fivefold during this period.
While there was a decline in specific categories such as fruit and vegetable imports, pharmaceutical imports saw a notable rise. In January–February 2025 alone, imports of medicines increased by more than 14%, highlighting a shift in demand and trade focus.
