The next training of Azerbaijan's first female demining team was held at the Tartar Regional Vocational Training Center of the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF).

According to Ednews, leadership and team-building training was organized in Tartar as part of capacity-building activities funded by the UK government and a joint initiative of UNDP-ANAMA. 

Staff members of IEPF's female demining team and members working on other projects of the foundation took part in the training.

The training was organized by the NextGen Recovery Solutions and Human Mobility Project in conjunction with the Mine Advisory Group (MAG) project "Empowerment of vulnerable conflict-affected women in Azerbaijan to overcome barriers to increased economic and social participation" and It was carried out in partnership with the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF).

Through leadership methodologies and team building games, the training aims to help male and female deminers learn different leadership tools, understand how to use leadership styles that best suit themselves and their working conditions, and support them to communicate effectively with team members.
