Portugal's Defense Minister Helena Carreiras announced that Lisbon will send five armored rescue and medical vehicles to Ukraine, the Kyiv Independent reported.
Ednews reports citing Kyiv Independent that the delivery comes as part of the country's commitment to supply Ukrainian troops with battle tanks and other military vehicles and it is set to include three M113 and two M577 armored personal carriers.
Carreiras made the announcement at a meeting of the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany, according to the report.
