Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi has said that negotiations between Iran and the United States will begin following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Switzerland.
EDnews reports that Takht-Ravanchi was quoted as saying the Iranian negotiating team will be led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, while the US delegation will be headed by Vice President JD Vance.
According to the Iranian official, the upcoming talks are expected to start after the formal signing of the agreement, which is scheduled to take place later this week in Switzerland.
