Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric met with EU Special Representative for the Belgrade–Pristina Dialogue Peter Sørensen in Brussels on July 3 to discuss the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as broader regional developments.
During the meeting, Djuric reaffirmed Belgrade's commitment to continuing the EU-facilitated dialogue with Pristina, expressing hope that conditions would soon allow for the resumption of high-level negotiations despite the prolonged political instability in Kosovo.
The Serbian minister stressed that the next phase of talks should prioritize the implementation of agreements already reached between the two sides.
Djuric also highlighted that the Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities has yet to be established, accusing Pristina of failing to fulfill its obligations under the Brussels Agreement.
According to the minister, the creation of the association remains a key priority for Serbia, describing it as essential for strengthening the institutional position of the Serbian community in Kosovo and safeguarding its collective rights.
