Two people were killed and another was injured in a shooting at a shopping mall in Dearborn, Michigan, on Friday, according to local media reports.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. local time (5:30 p.m. GMT). Authorities said three people, all believed to be around 20 years old, were shot during the confrontation.
One victim died at the scene, while a second later succumbed to injuries at a hospital. The third victim remains hospitalized with injuries.
Preliminary findings indicate that those involved knew each other and had an ongoing dispute that escalated into a physical altercation before gunfire broke out.
Police have launched an investigation into the shooting, and no further details have been released.
