European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has arrived in Kyiv for her 11th visit to Ukraine since the start of the war, saying the trip comes at a significant moment for the country.
In a post on X, von der Leyen said Ukraine has built strong military momentum and suggested that "the tide is turning."
During the visit, the European Commission chief is expected to announce new initiatives aimed at integrating European and Ukrainian defense industries to increase production capacity and speed.
Von der Leyen also said discussions would focus on Ukraine’s EU accession process and preparations for the upcoming winter period.
