The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza says 12 bodies were brought to hospitals over the past 24 hours, while one previously injured person died, raising the reported death toll from ongoing Israeli military operations.
The ministry said 18 people were also wounded during the latest reporting period.
In a statement, health officials added that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble or on roads, with ambulance crews and Palestinian Civil Defence teams continuing efforts to reach them.
According to the ministry, at least 1,123 Palestinians have been killed and 3,616 injured since the October ceasefire collapsed.
The ministry says the overall death toll from the war in Gaza has reached 73,246, with 173,727 people wounded since October 2023. Israel disputes casualty figures published by the Gaza Health Ministry, while international organizations, including the United Nations, have frequently cited the ministry's data as the primary source for casualty reporting.
