“Parliamentary elections will go down in history because they will be held in all sovereign territories of Azerbaijan,” said Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan (CEC) Mazahir Panahov during today’s meeting of CEC, Ednews reports.
CEC Chairman said that these elections are historical elections: "The number of polling stations will be a little more here. This is natural. At present, settlement in the liberated territories continues rapidly, people are returning to their lands. We will gladly take them into account in these elections. In this regard, the elections to the Milli Majlis will be of great historical importance. Our activities must be carried out with very high standards. The issue enlightement is the first issue in our activity."
